We are looking for an exceptional part-time or full-time Nurse Practitioner who demonstrates empathy, leadership, compassion and ethics.  Geenens Psychiatry is looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is eager to learn and who has a genuine desire in his/her heart to make a difference with our patients.​


  • Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment modalities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team

  • Knowledge of integrated care models and best practices in behavioral helathcare.


  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management and therapy sessions as needed.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine diagnoses and treatment plans.

  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

  • Utilize evidence based psychotherapy techniques to provide therapy to patients.

  • Provide compassionate and comprehensive psychiaric evaluations and assessments to patients of all ages.

  • Document patient encounter accurately and efficiently using electronic health record systems

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to provide coordinated care.

  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health condition and treatment options.

  • Maintain accurate and up to date patient records and documentation in comliance with legal and ethical standards.


Master's Degree

Current State of Kansas APRN licensure

Current DEA certificate
